Imaginative Reaction CIC
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Imaginative Reaction exists to make creativity accessible, and we want this website to reflect that. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate each page.
- Keyboard access to all menus, galleries, forms and the artwork viewer.
- Visible focus states and sufficient colour contrast for text.
- Descriptive alternative text on artwork and photography, using the artist's own titles wherever available.
- Text that resizes with your browser settings, and layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Reduced motion respected via your operating system preference.
Known limitations
Some older images migrated from our previous website may have generic alternative text while we complete the audit. Embedded third-party players (for example Spotify or YouTube) follow their own accessibility standards.
